Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
This policy explains what information ADBYTE DIGITAL (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“we”, “us”) collects when you use optimuminternet.org or call the number shown on it, how we use that information, and the choices you have. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
Who we are
This website is operated by ADBYTE DIGITAL (PRIVATE) LIMITED, a company registered in Pakistan with its principal office at Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
We are an independent authorized retailer of Optimum services. We are not Optimum, and we are not Altice USA, Inc. If you place an order through us, Optimum becomes your service provider and handles installation, billing and ongoing support directly, under its own agreements and its own privacy policy.
What this policy covers
This policy covers information we collect through this website and through telephone calls made to the number published on it.
It does not cover Optimum or Altice USA, whose handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy once you become their customer. It also does not cover any third-party website you reach by following a link from here.
Information you give us when you call
This website has no contact form, newsletter sign-up or account area. We do not ask you to submit personal information through the site.
When you call us, we typically discuss and record the information needed to check whether service is available and to place an order: your name, service address, telephone number, email address, and the services you are interested in. Depending on the order, Optimum may also require date of birth and identity or credit-check information; where that is the case, we collect it only to pass it to Optimum in order to complete your order.
You choose what to tell us. If you would rather not share something, say so — but we may not be able to check availability or place an order without it.
Call recording and monitoring
Calls to and from our team are recorded, and may also be monitored live, for quality assurance, training, and to keep an accurate record of what was quoted and agreed.
You will be told at the start of every call that it is being recorded. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will either stop the recording or continue without it. Declining does not affect the help you receive.
Recordings are personal information and are handled exactly as described elsewhere in this policy, including the retention periods set out below.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools receive certain information automatically. This typically includes your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and the site or advertisement you arrived from.
We use this to understand which pages and which advertisements are working, to detect abuse, and to keep the site running properly.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for a small number of purposes:
Strictly necessary — to serve the site securely and remember basic preferences. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics — to measure how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.
Advertising and measurement — to understand which advertisement led to a visit or a call, and to show relevant advertisements to people who have already visited the site.
The tools we use for this are Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. These are provided by Google, which processes the resulting data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use this site or to call us.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
check whether Optimum service is available at your address; explain plans, pricing and current offers; place and process an order at your request; contact you about an order or an enquiry you started; keep records of what was quoted and agreed; measure and improve our advertising and our website; detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
How we share information
With Optimum and Altice USA. To check serviceability and place your order, we share the information necessary to do so. Once your order is submitted, Optimum processes your information as your service provider under its own privacy policy.
With service providers. Companies that provide our website hosting, telephony and call handling, analytics, advertising measurement, and business software may process information on our behalf. They are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us.
With advertising platforms. We share limited measurement information — for example that a visit or a call resulted from a particular advertisement — with advertising platforms. See Your privacy choices below.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety or property of any person.
In a business transfer. If our business is sold or reorganised, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics cookies may nevertheless count as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain US state privacy laws. See Your privacy choices.
Where your information is processed
We want to be direct about this, because it is easy to overlook: ADBYTE DIGITAL (PRIVATE) LIMITED is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and information you give us is processed there, as well as in the United States by Optimum and by our service providers.
Pakistan has not been the subject of an adequacy finding by the European Commission or the UK government, and its data protection laws differ from those of the United States, the EEA and the UK. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to protect it, including contractual commitments with the parties who handle it.
By calling us or using this site, you understand that your information will be handled as described here. If you would prefer to deal only with a US-based party, you can contact Optimum directly at optimum.com.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy. Our standard periods are:
- Call recordings: 12 months.
- Enquiry records where no order was placed: 24 months.
- Order records: 7 years, to meet tax, accounting and commission requirements.
We may keep information for longer where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. When a period ends we delete the information or render it anonymous.
Security
We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encryption of this website in transit and access controls on the systems our team uses.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send payment card numbers, government identification numbers or passwords by email.
Your privacy choices
Marketing calls and messages. If we contact you and you would rather we did not, tell the representative or email [email protected] and we will stop.
Cookies. Manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and adjust advertising personalisation in your Google account settings.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of the use of advertising cookies that may constitute a sale or sharing under US state law, email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”. We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends it.
US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to: know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it; obtain a copy of it; correct it; ask us to delete it; opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call (844) 473-1752. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details you have already given us. You may use an authorised agent; we may ask for proof of their authority.
We will respond within the time your state's law allows — generally 45 days, extendable once where the request is complex. If we decline a request, we will explain why and how you can appeal.
If you are in the EEA or the UK
This site is directed at consumers in the United States and we do not offer services in the EEA or the UK. If you contact us from there, you may still have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us at [email protected] and we will deal with your request. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and Optimum services are sold only to adults who can enter into a contract. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site and our representatives may refer you to websites we do not control, including optimum.com. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
